I'm a tutor based in Ridgewood, New York. I'm a graduate of New York University with summa cum laude honors.I have experience mentoring people of many different ages, having worked with middle school, high school, and college students. As a NYU student, I helped my peers with writing at its Gallatin Writing Center. I was even a private tutor for a family with two children. I assisted them with homework, prepared them for the SAT, and gave them piano lessons.Here are the subjects I teach: ACT, English, Test Prep, Literature, Writing, Languages, Essay Editing, Grammar and Mechanics, Reading, College Essays, Pre-Algebra, etc.In addition to academic subjects, I have also mentored children in Music History, Songwriting, and playing instruments in summer programs for the past six years. I now run week-long music programs in Brooklyn.I'm not just limited to tutoring. I also train about 30 people to be competent mentors and instructors.I enjoy working with children, and I do my best to assist them with their goals.As much as I love to teach and volunteer in my community, I like to escape from those activities once in awhile. I like to amuse myself with writing fiction and nonfiction, making multimedia art, and playing music.
