I earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Ecology and Evolutionary Biology from Princeton University. My minors were in Global Health & Health Policy and Gender & Sexuality Studies. I have worked as a tutor since 2006. I started by tutoring middle school students. I have since worked with both high school and college students. I enjoy helping students understand how things in life are connected in a larger scope. I tutor by taking principles from the material. I then help each student fully understand this content and be able to internalize it. This makes each session a rewarding learning activity. My tutoring experience has included a wide range of subjects. I am most interested in tutoring in subjects involving biology. I am also available for tutoring other science subjects of chemistry, physics, and life sciences. I also work with students on math including elementary math, middle school math, algebra levels, calculus levels, and statistics. I can also help with English subjects of writing, grammar, literature, and college essays. I have worked with students on SAT and ISEE test preparation as well as AP and Honors science courses. I also find time for reading blogs and science books, exploring museums, and trying new recipes.
