After graduating from high school in Minnesota, I decided I wanted to experience something different. For this reason, I chose to attend New York University Abu Dhabi for my undergraduate. This remarkable experience gave me the privilege of studying in Abu Dhabi, Berlin, and New York City. Eventually, I graduated cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts in Film and New Media, as well as a concentrator in Social Research and Public Policy. During my time in high school and college, I helped students from kindergarten all the way through high school prepare for tests, complete homework assignments, and gain a better understanding of their classroom materials. My areas of expertise include writing, math, and public speaking. I also enjoy helping students prepare for standardized tests like the SAT and ACT by providing them with comprehensive preparatory courses where they're able to measure their progress along the way. My experiences studying at a highly competitive university have helped me learn how to stay motivated and develop excellent study habits, even when faced with significant challenges. As a tutor, I like to give hands-on learning experiences that help students build their practical, real-world knowledge so that they're able to apply what they know outside of a classroom setting.
