I have been a teacher and professor for over 15 years. I have taught and tutored ESL, writing, and test prep at Columbia University, Harvard University, Case Western Reserve University, and the University of Arizona. I love working with high school and college students. I am am an ENCOURAGING and MOTIVATIONAL learning facilitator. Most recently, I have served as the Director of ESL Writing at Columbia University and have taught English and ESL at Columbia University's American Language Program and Harvard's Institute of English Language. I tutor WRITING, TOEFL, ESL, and COLLEGE ESSAY writing. As an SAT TUTOR I use the latest research in vocabulary learning and critical reading comprehension to help students succeed. I have not only tutored for many years, but have been a TUTOR TRAINER at several universities and private language programs. I truly understand what it takes to be an effective educator in a one-to-one setting. I am an ORGANIZED, FUN, and highly MOTIVATIONAL tutor.
